Genealogy "How-To" At the Saluda County Historical Society
Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm, February 26, 2012
Saluda County Museum

Carol Hardy Bryan of Edgefield will conduct a “how to” session for those wanting to begin a genealogy search of family members or the experienced who need a few fresh ideas. Carol is a past president of the Old Edgefield District Genealogical Society and edited their Quill publication for a number of years. If you do a search for her name on the internet, you will find she has researched a number of family groups.
Carol will bring a variety of genealogy helps with her such as lineage charts and family charts which can be used by those beginning their genealogy quest to those who are searching for that “lost family member”. She will answer that question, “How do I start?” For those who are well along in their family search, Carol will share tips on finding females, whose names are frequently lost in the shuffle. Carol, Dr. Bela Herlong and Charles Andrews have researched and published a four volume book on our area in Saluda County called Mount Willing. Carol is a long time member of the Saluda County Historical Society.
The February meeting of the Saluda County Historical Society will meet on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm, February 26, 2012, at the Saluda County Historical Society Museum, 105 Law Range, on the Courthouse Square, Saluda, SC. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. All those interested in beginning a genealogy search or expanding their search are welcome.
